OGP's key to success is its people, who all have a lot of experience in other companies, but who all share the independent-minded, entrepreneurial spirit that defines OGP.
Mr. Johnston joined OGP in 1990 shortly after it was founded. Mr. Johnston oversees all current business development and financial relationships for the company. During his time with OGP, Mr. Johnston has served in different capacities in the Land, Accounting and Production Departments including extensive project planning and management. Prior to joining OGP, Mr. Johnston had considerable experience in managing an extensive portfolio of oil and gas properties for his family's office. Mr. Johnston is a member of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (OIPA) and the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), the Arkansas Independent Petroleum and Royalty Owners (AIPRO), and served as the founding Chairman of the Mid-Continent Coalbed Methane Forum of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Johnston graduated from Columbia College (Mo) with degrees in Business Administration and English Literature. |
Mr. Burns began his career with OGP in 1991. Mr. Burns directs OGP’s negotiations in connection with Farmout Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Gas Gathering Agreements, Partnership Agreements and all Gas Marketing transactions. Mr. Burns is also responsible for royalty owner and landowner relations as well as third-party working interest owners. Mr. Burns was a Landman for Jet Oil Company in Tulsa from 1980 – 1984, and, following the purchase of Jet by Deminex U.S. Oil Company from 1984 - 1991, he became Senior Landman for Deminex. Mr. Burns is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen, the Dallas ADAM Energy Forum, and Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen. Mr. Burns graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Petroleum Land Management. |
Ms. Arnold joined OGP in 1996. As Office Manager, Ms. Arnold is responsible for the daily administrative operations at OGP. Accounts payable, vendor relations and various other daily accounting functions are a portion of her duties. Ms. Arnold also provides partner and owner relations for the firm. She assists Mr. Johnston and Mr. Burns with special projects and works with outside consultants in tax preparation. During her tenure at OGP, Ms. Arnold has provided administrative support to the Land, Accounting and Production Departments. |
Van Nguyen |

Mr. Nguyen has spent over 30 years with such companies as Texaco USA, Superior Oil Company and Deminex U.S. Oil Company. He has extensive experience with water flood feasbility, reservoir analysis, reservoir stimulation, drilling, recompletion and workover procedures throughout the mid-continent, Louisiana, and Texas Gulf coast areas. Mr. Nguyen screens all potential acquisition projects for OGP. Mr. Nguyen is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas, and is active in professional socities. Mr. Nguyen graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. |
STEVE LESLIE |

Mr. Leslie brings twenty-nine years of experience in revenue and JIB accounting to OGP. Prior to joining OGP in 1993, Mr. Leslie began his career with Placid Oil Company in 1976 after having been graduated from Lamar University with a BBA in Accounting. Prior to joining OGP in 1994, Mr. Leslie was employed by Sonat, Snyder Oil Company, and Lynx Energy Company. Mr. Leslie oversees the monthly revenue and billing processing as well as reviewing monthly financial statements. |
JAMES DYKES |

Mr. Dykes brings thirty-five years of experience in accounting to OGP. Mr. Dykes began his career with a regional accounting firm in 1974 after receiving his BBA from Stephen F. Austin. He is a CPA and a member of COPAS. Prior to joining OGP in 2006, he was employed by several companies including Placid Oil, Vaughn Petroleum, Lynx Energy Company, and CDX Gas. Mr. Dykes processes the monthly billing and revenue and prepares monthly financial statements. He is also involved in monthly state production reporting. |
OLIVIA MARTINEZ |

Ms. Martinez joined OGP in 1992 and provides administrative support to OGP’s Land Department. She assists Mr. Burns with updating division orders and maintaining royalty owner’s information database. Her prior experience with OGP includes administrative support to the Engineering Department and Accounting Department. |
JENNIFER ARNOLD |

Ms. Jennifer Arnold processes all monthly accounts payable invoices and maintains all vendor files. She assists Mr. Leslie in the distribution of monthly revenue checks. She has previously provided administrative support to the Land Department in the updating of division order forms as well as updating owner’s interest for reserve report preparation. Prior to joining OGP in 2002, Ms. Arnold was employed by an independent oil and gas producer and provided accounting support. |
JIM ASHLEY, Arkoma District |

Mr. Ashley began his career with OGP in 1993, as a Field Pumper. He is currently District Superintendent for the Arkoma District. He is responsible for overseeing the daily field operations, as well as drilling, completion and workovers. Mr. Ashley started out working for several drilling companies such as E.W. Moran and Wilson Well Service before moving into the oil field construction business for Nix Construction. Mr. Ashley then went to work for Deminex U.S. Oil Company as a pumper from 1980 to 1993 in the Oklahoma and West Texas Fields. Mr. Ashley has had training in Well Drilling and Completion through the University of Oklahoma and The Echometer School in Odessa, Texas. |
MELVIN FREEMAN JR., Permian District |

Mr. Freeman joined OGP in March 2004 as a contract pumper and became a company pumper in August 2004. Freeman was promoted to District Superintendent in November 2006. Before joining OGP, Mr. Freeman worked for Mel's Service Company and H&B; Waterhaulers for 10 years performing pumping, roustabouting, transport truck, backhoe operating and wrinch truck operating. From 1999 - 2003 Mr. Freeman was enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as an aviation and electronics technician. He supervised the operations of a navigation and communication shop that repaired and maintained aircraft systems. |
